Barry serves as
our Senior Minister. He and his wife Diann have two sons, two daughters-in-law and five grandchildren. Barry is a 1969 graduate of Auburn University and a 1974 graduate of Atlanta Christian College. He started his ministry with BCC in October, 2006. His previous ministries included serving nine years with Atlanta Christian College, twenty-one years with Westside Christian Church (Georgia) and five years with Macon Christian Church (Georgia). |

Steve and Paula Brooks married in 1982 and have 4 adult children, including a son-in-law. Ordained in 1989, Steve has functioned as pastor, worship minister, hospice chaplain, and educator. During a 20-year Air Force career, he earned an AAS in Communications Electronics; a B.S. in Business and Management; an MA in Religion, and an Ed.D. in Counseling Psychology. For 6 years, Steve was a VP with Edison Schools, Inc., and traveled across the nation virtually every week, promoting extended learning programs to public school districts. He has taught with Park University, Mid-America Christian University, Roane State Community College, and Argosy University. He is currently an Assistant Professor with Liberty University, teaching graduate students in the Seminary and the Center for Counseling and Family Studies. The Brookses arrived in east Tennessee in June of 2004 from San Angelo, Texas. |

Let's start with introductions. My name is Keith, what's yours? Well, if you almost answered the computer, that' ok, I argue with the refs on TN all the time. I am the Student Minister here at Blount Christian Church. Well, if you're reading this you must be interested in something so I'll give you a little info on myself and save you the background checks. I grew up in the real Kansas City, (the Kansas side, that is). I attended Saint Louis Christian College (SLCC) for 5 years earning a Bachelor's of Science in Youth Ministry. SLCC just so happens to be the place where I met my beautiful wife. We've been married for 4 and a half years now and we have two beautiful daughters; Mikaela, who is two, and Emma, who is six months. After graduation, I went to work at CIY for two and a half years leading short term missions trips inside the US as well as Mexico. After leaving CIY I went to work at Saint Louis Christian College as an admissions counselor for two years. I am a huge football fan, and being from Kansas City, yes you put two and two together, I am a Chiefs fan. I'm also a Jayhawks fan and a huge NASCAR fan...well, pretty much any motorsports, but NASCAR is my favorite. I really enjoy most anything outdoors and working with my hands. As far as foods go, BBQ......BBQ and my wife's cooking. If you are interested in seeing what God is doing here at BCC with the youth, come check us out. We'd love to have you here!!

Jana has been a member of BCC since 2004 and was hired in October of 2006 as our Preschool Director. Jana became our Children’s director in early 2007. She has been married to Dan since 2000 and they have a daughter named Reagan who was born 2004 |
